A Ramones "Commando" comic. For your thanksgiving. This is like my all-time favorite Ramones song, although occasionally, i'll hear one & remember that it is also my favorite all-time Ramones song. One of the dumb things about Punk (there's a list of 100 dumb things about Punk just waiting to be written), is the whole one upmanship of supposed Punk concepts. The Ramones played short, loud, simple songs. This eventually mutated into stuff like SPAZZ. Stuff that is not even music, but is more like ear damage noise bullshrimp. That's all well & fine, & can be judged on its own merit, but that is not what the Ramones & Punk are about. Here's the comic, before i continue discussing this junk.

You gotta wonder why i still even think about this stuff, or rather, i kick myself for still obsessing over this stuff. I think it's cos i was raised culturally Catholic without having a proper vehicle for the whole old-fashioned Catholic structuralizing. Or it's just how my brain works, always thinking about cultural structures & the proper way to do things. That's most likely the reason.

Anyhow, the Ramones took this cultural structuralizing to the maximum, which is correct, which is right, because it is only our human constructs which keep us together against the onslaught of cosmic mind disease. BUT, it's not just any human constructs, diseased human constructs create turd creatures. We meet them all the time.
