Götterdämmerung

My first real painting, revealed to me by age-old friend & co-painter Erik denBreejen was of Bill the Cat & Garfield in a police car running over a hippie. We probably did it when we were 10 or so, but i have no idea. There are just some things i viscerally dislike, & i am a very visceral person. The cult of Barack Obama is one of the things i viscerally dislike, as a candidate i am indifferent to him, but the people who have fallen for him really make my stomach turn. Burning Man is another thing i just take a sniff at & know it's wrong. Maybe it's all the artsy leftists hanging out together in the desert doing drugs & not wearing much clothing, maybe it's the disposable alt. Disneyland for people with Peter Pan complexes, i don't really care, I just don't like it, much like Renaissance Fairs, comic conventions & the internet.

This picture is from the German Fastnacht pre-Lenten Carnival which is basically what Burning Man should be, or Burning Man is a perversion of.
