Götterdämmerung

I don't know how i missed this movie & never even heard anyone talk about my entire life. Actually i do know, i never really got into Oingo Boingo, & when i was probably more of the mind to listen to them, i really didn't like their fans & Danny Elfman was at his saturation point! Anyhow, now that i'm here in isolandia, i'm busily thoroughly checking out alot of stuff that i missed due to guilt through association & mental health. So, while i might be able to sing all of Oingo Boingo's singles, & knew that they had different incarnations & know about Danny Elfman, i didn't REALLY KNOW about this whole deal. So, this movie, THE FORBBIDEN ZONE is like a Betty Boop or Felix the Cat cartoon except live & starring mostly humans, mixed with a Fellini movie & a Buzby Berkeley type musical. It has your very 1980 art school mix of German Expressionism with Art Deco & Underground Comics aesthetics, lots of titties & great music. It had to have had a small budget, & that's another reason why i like it. The good stuff is made on a shoe string & why, the value is passed on to us!
